Step-by-Step Instructions to Make Easter Swirl Pie
Step 1 – Prepare the Crust
In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar.
Press the mixture firmly into the base of your pie pan or springform pan using the back of a spoon or measuring cup.
Chill in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling.
Step 2 – Whip the Cream
In a cold bowl, beat the heavy cream with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
Set it aside in the refrigerator.
Step 3 – Make the Cream Cheese Base
In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
Add Greek yogurt, vanilla, lemon zest, and powdered sugar. Beat until creamy.
Step 4 – Fold in Whipped Cream
Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture using a spatula. Don’t overmix.
Step 5 – Divide and Color
Divide the mixture into 4 bowls.
Add a drop of food coloring to each bowl (pink, yellow, blue, purple). Stir gently.
Step 6 – Swirl the Magic
Drop spoonfuls of each color randomly over the crust.
Use a toothpick or skewer to gently swirl the colors—don’t overdo it!
Step 7 – Chill Until Set
Cover the pie and refrigerate for at least 6 hours (or overnight).
Remove from the pan, garnish, and serve chilled.
