That warm bowl of comforting soup that was way too full of salt somehow managed to be so satisfying. I mean, it looks pretty gross on the can of ingredients nowadays. I remember that the chicken in the can was always really like rubber, and I would end up spitting most of it out.

When I was older, my mom began using a chicken noodle soup recipe that she said came from a newspaper. It was creamy and slightly spicy, incredibly delicious. Turns out it was cream of mushroom soup in a can! What?! I thought it was homemade 100%. Lol. Regardless, it was really yummy and I always requested it.
